Tori Elliott is a Freelance Illustrator and Creative Practitioner born and raised in South Devon. Graduating from her Illustration BA Hons Degree at University College Falmouth in Cornwall in 2010, Tori has continued to develop her illustrative style with a wide variety of projects.

From a young age Tori has been an active member of the creative community, with experience working in the Design Team of accountancy firms and the Creative Department of “Bray Leino” Advertising Agency in North Devon, along with a multitude of exhibitions organised independently during her Degree such as; “Episode One” at The Chelston Gallery in Torquay, “The Eden Exhibition” at The Ilsington Festival, and “Curious” at the Society Of Artists Gallery in St Ives, Cornwall. She has been a ‘featured artist’ in “Baby Beef” Magazine in Northern Ireland, and was part of the “4inch Collective” at The Babahogs Artcafe in Falmouth. As well as this, Tori is keen to take on new challenges and has been working as a visual designer with Heysett Design and Blackworks Design to encourage sustainable and reusable products.

Her most recent commission has been to produce a mural for Torbay Creative Arts Council and the Gingko project to encourage visits to Torre Abbey and to provide workshops with children, which can be seen along Torquay Seafront and Torre Abbey Meadows. Along with this, Tori is working with singer/songwriter Lou Rhodes to produce a series of Childrens Picture books, and with what little spare time she has, Tori works on her own independent illustrated books. Tori is also Head Designer for Jointsafe.Walksafe. which is an eco-friendly product company based in Taunton.

Spending her time between Devon and Cornwall, Tori believes that her rural roots strongly influence her Illustrations, appreciating the organic forms of the moors and the sea. She works with a subtle and delicate line, using the feminine pastel and neutral colours in stand-alone and multiple image narratives. Often using textile and print techniques with traditional pen and ink, Tori finds simple repetition of shape and pattern a common factor in each of her Illustrations.
